Next Luncheon Dec 14th

Our next luncheon is on Friday Dec 14th at Giovanni’s Restaurant at 9353 Clairemont Mesa Blvd., San Diego. Luncheon will start at 1PM (note new time this year).
Same format as last year for ordering your food at Giovanni’s. You will order whatever you want and pay the restaurant directly or have a Luncheon Special, which are unlimited pizza, salad and soft drink for $13.00 per person. In order to get the special we need a minimum of 20 people participating, so if you would like the Special, let the person you are giving your reservation to know.

Directions to Giovanni’s Restaurant: Take the Clairemont Mesa Blvd. Exit off I-15 and go West up the hill to Ruffin Rd. Turn left at the signal and the restaurant is on your right. Their phone number is 858-279-6700.
Parking is also available on the National University campus parking lot behind the Restaurant. Go south on Ruffin Road, turn right on Lightwave Ave the campus is on the right, then right again past the first building into the parking lot then proceed all the way back to the fence. From there it’s a short walk to Giovanni’s.

Next Dinner Nov 29th

Our next dinner is Thursday Nov 29 at 4 Points by Sheraton at 8110 Aero Dr by Hwy 163 and Hwy 805. Dinners will start at 6:00 PM and are $18.00, which includes tax and tip.
On the menu for the Nov 29 dinner is Pizza, Ravioli, Lasagna, Angel Hair pasta and Meatballs, Garlic Bread, coffee or hot tea.

Former board member and Charger backer Bob Bruni will have his band “the Sliver Spurs” at this event for our listening and dancing enjoyment. We will have door prizes and game day tickets to win. So let us all get together, enjoy the music and support our team!!!

Hi Charger Backer – Let’s get ready for a big divisional win against the Chiefs!!!!

Come join your fellow Charger Backers for lunch on Tuesday October 30th. Lunch
will start at 1PM. Chargers are trying to provide a guest speaker for this
event. If you weren’t at our dinner on Oct 11th you missed out on meeting Charger
Tackle #79 Mike Harris.

The Giovanni’s Special is all the salad, pizza and soft drink you can eat for
$13.00. We need a minimum of 20 people for the Special. Otherwise you may order
off the menu. If you order off the menu there will be a charge of $2.00 at the
door.

When making your reservation please state “special” or “menu” on the phone or
email. RSVP now by returning this email to chargerbackers@san.rr.com or by
calling 760-597-0005.

DEAD LINE for reservations is Sunday OCT 28th.

Hi Charger Backer – Let’s play bingo!!! We have a family event planned for Sunday Oct 21.

The Charger Backers are getting together for an afternoon of Bingo SUNDAY – OCT 21 at 1pm.

The McAlister Institute Bingo hall is at 1365 N. Johnson Ave, Suite 111, El Cajon, Ca.  It is across the street from the Gateway Church.

$10 Pkg. — 10 sheets/ 6 cards per sheet
$20 Pkg. — 20 sheets/ 6 cards per sheet
6 Games – Prize for each game played. You might just win an autographed football gift basket full of Charger gear or 2 game tickets to the Nov. 25 Ravens vs. Chargers game. Come join in the fun, bring your family, friends, and make new friends.
